Patrick J. McDermott joins the firm after spending nearly three years as a judicial law clerk in the United States District Court for the District of Arizona where he managed both district and magistrate judges' civil dockets including facilitating discovery disputes, drafting judicial decisions, and assisting with trials. Patrick's knowledge of the court system allows him to assist clients in making intelligent and well-informed decisions throughout the litigation process.

Experience

Patrick also has substantial transactional experience. Prior to his federal clerkship, Patrick served as an associate at boutique probate law firm in Tucson. There, Patrick gained firsthand experience in everything from real estate and business transactions to estate and tax planning to banking and insurance agreements.

In addition to his juris doctor from the University of Arizona's James E. Rogers College of Law, Patrick also holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State with certificates in Business Data Analytics and Leadership. Prior to his legal career, Patrick worked in the motorsports entertainment industry in Daytona Beach, Florida.
